MAJALENGKA UNIVERSITY VISIT IN ORDER TO BENCHMARKING RPL PROGRAM IN FIPP UNY

Yogyakarta, January 18, 2024 - Majalengka University conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) in order to deepen understanding of the Learning Recognition Program (RPL). The event was held in the International Room of FIPP UNY today, at 13.00-15.00 WIB.

The event was attended by several officials from Majalengka University, including the Vice Chancellor 1, the Secretary of LP2MI, the Administration Bureau, the Academic Planning Bureau, and the IT Team. From FIPP UNY, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean for RKSIU, Head and Secretary of the Department of Out-of-School Education, Head and Secretary of the Department of Educational Management, and the RKSIU Team.

The series of events opened with remarks from Mc and the Vice Dean of RKSIU FIPP UNY, which were then followed by remarks from the Vice Chancellor of Majalengka University. A discussion was held to discuss the RPL program, including the challenges faced.

One of the main points in the discussion was the challenges related to the RPL program, especially in terms of RPL cooperation with students. In a highly interactive conversation, participants discussed how students could claim their experience and how recognition of courses taken could be organized.

The challenge involves trying to simplify the process of claiming experience and providing clear guidance to students. The discussion also highlighted the aspect of cooperation between universities in addressing common challenges related to RPL programs.

The conclusion of the meeting included the commitment of both universities to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the RPL Program. With this collaboration, it is hoped that experience and learning can continue to be enhanced, creating an educational environment that is more inclusive and responsive to student needs.
