The Rector of UNY inaugurated 4 professors from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, along with 5 professors from the Faculty of Language, Arts, and Culture, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, at the Performance Hall of the Faculty of Language, Arts, and Culture on Saturday (30/2).
The four professors are Prof. Dr. Ali Muhtadi, M.Pd. from the Educational Technology study program in the field of Curriculum and Learning Development, Prof. Dr. Sugeng Bayu Wahyono, M.Si. from the Educational Technology study program in the field of Sociology of Education, Prof. Dr. Ishartiwi, M.Pd. from the Special Education study program in the field of Learning Technology for Children with Special Needs, and Prof. Dr. Hermanto, M.Pd. from the Special Education study program in the field of Education Management for Children with Special Needs.
Prof. Dr. Ali Muhtadi delivered his speech about Curriculum and Deep Learning to Develop Critical-Innovative Thinking Skills and Student Learning Independence in the Digital Era. Prof. Dr. Sugeng Bayu Wahyono, M.Si., delivered a speech on Critical Paradigm Sociology as a Fertilizer for the Habitat of Epistemology of Education Science in Indonesia. Prof. Dr. Ishartiwi, M.Pd., delivered a speech on the Application of the Teaching Factory Model in Vocational Skills Learning for Individuals with Special Needs. Prof. Dr. Hermanto, M.Pd., delivered a speech on Inclusive School Management: Between the Axiological Continuum, and Advocating the Potential of Learners.
The Rector of UNY, Prof. Sumaryanto, congratulated and wished success for this extraordinary academic achievement. "These nine professors are the third edition of professors' speeches in 2023 where this year there are 38 professors who have made speeches," said the Rector. The Rector also revealed that the quality of study programs is reliable if the achievement index is high, students graduate quickly, get a job according to their passion and salary and the waiting period is low.
